AQA A-level biology

Hi, I just did a question on an old spec paper for AQA A level biology (I have copied below). Is this old spec, or new spec too? It doesn't mention about the endodermis in my textbook, and questions surrounding this topic are usually asked about the cohesion-tension theory more directly. I understand it is kind of intuitive, but I just want to check. Thanks.

Root pressure moves water through the xylem. Describe what causes root pressure.

Answer:
1. Active transport by endodermis;
2. ions/salts into xylem;
3. Lowers water potential (in xylem);
4. (Water enters) by osmosis;
