in simple terms could someone please tell me the difference between inference and analysis and the inference that gets top marks in the exam? thanks got exam tomorrow so asap reply helpful

Inference is what is suggested from the text like reading between the lines.What you learn about the character or subject for this especially in q2 you don't do any analysis
Analysis includes techniques which you dont mention in q2 and you normally zoom into those phrases and do language analysis. Hope this helped

Inference that gets top marks would be more in depth and less obvious, so a unique idea that is ur own interpretation of the text.What is suggested about the focus to you and really developing that
