english language got done dirty

hello, does anyone know how the appeal and reviewing process is done? i recently got a grade 3 in English language (despite getting 6, 3 weeks before for my mocks) I studied so much for English language and bare in mind, i also use extremely high vocabulary in my essays, yet I got a grade 3. My teacher was extremely shocked. And my school filed for an appeal, does anyone know if 2 marks is likely to get done? I got 1/16 for my paper 2 question 4, despite getting 10/16 last time and I wrote 2 chunky paragraphs, which should be at least 5 marks.. should I get my hopes up? This appeal is riding on everything i have at the moment, including my place at the school, and my new sixth form which I applied to. Please can anyone be honest if they've gotten 2 marks before in a similar situation is it possible? Or should I prepare myself for something else.
