Studying Physics

Does anyone have any advice for studying physics without maths at a-level? I'm a year in and am finding it difficult (taking AS maths or A-level is not an option for me).

The maths in year 1 a level physics is really only the mechanics modules in applied maths. I would think understanding the concepts is more important and the only math related topics require knowledge about SUVAT and a bit of trig (given in the formula booklet for OCR not sure about the other exam boards). Practicing and understanding the reasoning behind the application of the already given equations should be good enough for now since there isn't really difficult math involved. Hope this helps.
