Personal recommendation: do A Level Maths in a gap year for up to £1000 and save yourself the £9k bill. You will also:have more universities to choose from and not to stick to one uni after your foundation year.

A number of physics degrees with integrated foundation years tend to require you to already have maths and physics in your arsenal i.e. they tend to be for people who didn't meet the grades as oppose to for people who did other subjects.

After doing a quick google search, I have found the following that you could look into:

There are plenty of other courses to look through, but to answer your question there are plenty of unis that offer physics with foundation year.

Hi there @sp4ce1nvad3r,

How are you? It's great to hear that you are looking to study Physics at University! 😊

Here at The University of Central Lancashire, we offer a MPhys Physics (Foundation Entry) course where upon successful completion of the Foundation Year students can progress onto our BSc (Hons)/ MPhys Physics or Astrophysics degrees.

For Physics and Astronomy, we are proud to be ranked 1st in the UK for academic support according the National Student Survey (compared with unis in the Guardian University Guide) 2023. As a student on our course, you will learn through engaging lectures, problem-solving tutorials and hands-on laboratory sessions receiving lots of support throughout. Students also have the opportunity to use our brilliant Alston Observatory over the course of their degree.

You can discover more about our MPhys Physics (Foundation Entry) course here: https://www.uclan.ac.uk/undergraduate/courses/physics-mphys-foundation

I'd be more than happy to answer any questions you may have about the course or life here at UCLan. 😊

All the best,
Sarah
