Oxford biology
Hi, I'm a 2024 uni applicant and thinking of applying for BA biology at Oxford (I understand that it's extremely hard to get in)
I would like to know whether the course is heavily emphasized in plant and ecology. As I've looked at their course structure and the year 1 interwoven themes are diversity of life, building a phenotype and evolution and ecology.
I'm more interested in studying physiology, diseases and zoology but not as much in ecology and plant from my experience in AS1. I understand that it is inevitable and important to learn about plants and ecology in a biology degree. But I would like to study a course that focuses more on animal, cell and diseases etc. Just want to know whether this course will be suitable for me.
