Industrial economics degree

How do you explain what industrial economics is as a degree? Would you say it’s a good degree to do?

How do you explain what industrial economics is as a degree?
The following gives a nice outline of what industrial economics is:
https://www.studyingeconomics.ac.uk/module-options/industrial-economics/
In essense, it's like business economics, but it also looks at the macro side of things.

As I can only find one uni that offers it as a degree in the UK, I would presume this is the degree you're referring to:

Would you say it’s a good degree to do?
Depends on your definition of a good degree and what you intend to do with it after graduation.
If you intend to go into academic research in industrial economics, yeah it's a good degree.
If you're just looking for any degree, then it's just as good as any other degree.
If you're looking for a specific career, then it depends on the career.
If you're looking for a degree that has a good balance of quantiative and qualitative modules, then the degree from Nottingham above is good.
If you're looking for a degree that teaches you specific skills, then it depends on the skills you want to pick up. The degree from Nottingham covers material in statistics and offers optional modules in corporate law and accounting.
If you want a degree in economics and then later specialise in another area of economics at postgrad, then the degree above is a good candidate.
If you want a quantitative degree and go into jobs with quantiative roles, then I don't think industrial economics quite cut it; you would need something more akin to maths, engineering, or physics.

If you're looking for a degree that opens a lot of doors and allows you to do anything, then sorry there is no such degree.
If you're looking for a degree that guarantees you a high salary, then sorry there is no such degree and degrees don't work that way.
If you're looking for a degree that you can then later go into any other subject upon graduation, then sorry the degree won't allow you to do that; there aren't any such degree in the UK that allows you to do that (except possibly for very specific degrees in Natural Sciences).
