What role to accept for big bank analyst position?

Hi,

I recently had the opportunity to do two interviews for an investment bank in London. For two roles: Product Control & Legal Entity Control.

Ultimately if I’m successful and I receive an offer from both, I have to pick one of them. Which one do you think is better for work/life balance, career mobility and progression?

I’m just trying to see some responses from people and their experiences. Thanks.

Product control can go towards valuation control and has a few interesting areas but if doing liquids will be a lot of daily P&L calculations and reconciliation of breaks...

Legal entity control is more traditional financial control and will involve doing stat accounts etc for a bunch of legal entities, also pretty dry
