Hello
If you want to be a surgeon then when you are 18 you can study Medicine with the right qualifications and a good application. Although lots of people want to study Medicine which makes it very difficult to be accepted.

To study Medicine you will need to have good qualifications in Biology and Chemistry. If you study in the UK before you are 18, you will need to study 3 A Levels. I would recommend taking Biology and Chemistry A Level, plus 1 other subject of your choice. This will give you access to most of the medical schools in the UK if you have high grades.

An A Level in the UK is roughly equivalent to a Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education (UACE) in Uganda.

If you have more questions, I am happy to help
