Are these GCSE's good enough for Cambridge HisPol?

So I just got my GCSE results and I got a mixed bag of grades. I got 4 grade 9's (RE, History, English Literature, English Language), 1 grade 8 (Mandarin), 4 grade 7's (Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry and Maths) and 2 grade 6's (Biology and Further Maths).

I know I did fairly well, but I'm concerned that having those grades may lessen my chances, especially since everyone aiming for top university's seem to be getting only grade 8's and 9's. I think my strong grades in essay subjects alongside my supercurriculars will help my application, but I'm worried that my lower grades may affect my chances.
If your applying to Cambridge your GCSEs matter a lot less compared to Oxford. As you say your essay subjects are very strong so keep that up. Its far more important to get good predicted grades and develop a clear understanding of the subject you want to study which you can show off at interview. Overall its nothing to worry about.
