Do I have the grades to make it into a top uni with these GCSE's?

hi!
I recently got my GCSE grades and didn't do as well as I had hoped.
I really want to study finance/economics/ banking at uni and was looking at school such as Imperial, Oxford, Cambridge, UCL, LSE, Warwick

my grades are:
Engineering - 9
Maths - 8
English Language - 8
Chemistry - 8
Physics - 8
Economics - 8
Further Maths - 7
English Literature - 7
History - 7
Biology - 7
French - 6 :frown:

Be honest, do I have a chance at these uni's?
especially after going to a grammar school where in comparison others have done extremely extremely well.

I’d say yes, London unis I know mostly ask for a 5 in a language and some other unis ask for a 7 in maths depending on the course which you achieved and they’re good results, well done!

I'll be honest: they will look mainly at your A-Levels, not your GCSEs, and the offer will be based on your A-Levels.

Your GCSEs are pretty good, so don't stress and try and build on your success and learn from where you didn't do as well as you wanted.
