Resitting AS - advice needed

Hello all,

I did AS chemistry and biology in May, the results weren't good.

I am thinking to take both AS and A2 next May. Will that be counted as resit? I understand many medical schools don't accept resit.

These were CIE grades. I might return to the UK next year, will that make a difference if I sit UK or CIE exams next May?

Medical schools require A or A* grades (depends on the uni) in A Levels
Medical schools dont care about As level grades
As in the UK, many students studying A Levels, dont sit As exams, as A levels are 2 year linear.

I understand now what your question means:
To clarify, it will not count as a resit - As levels and A Levels are separate qualifications
A Levels contain the content of As + A2 content and you will be tested on all of this knowledge in those exams
