Hi, i received my offer in december (21/12) and it's BBB for me. I applied with 3As and an A in my EPQ and i do business, economics and law. What subjects do you do? Are you considering RHUL as your first or a potential insurance option? Here's hoping we get offers and the grades we need!

Hello,

I am currently doing an Access to HE Diploma and received a conditional offer from RHUL in January for Psychology Bsc. I decided to make RHUL my first choice. Since a few years I have heard from RHUL here and there and obviously seen pictures of the gorgeous founders building. When I visited on the first Applicant Day this year, I think it was around February, I fell in love with the entire athmosphere on the campus. I am not really a person into the noise of cities. I like more calm and quiet places, where I can be at peace with my own thoughts and actually relax on my days off so my nervous system can get a break. Cities are way too overstimulating for me over a long period of time. The campus was so beautiful and everything essential was there in one spot. My dream of having some sort of campus life experience seemed much more vivid and realistic to me once I experienced the campus. A perfect place to study, learn and grow and still have a nice social life. I am currently working hard to meet the conditions for my offer as I really want to be able to study at RHUL! I dream of having one of those beautiful spacious brightly lit rooms in the Founder's building at the 2-3rd floor facing a beautiful view to the forrest or the court yard.

Hi everyone,

Accommodation applications for new undergraduate students open today so here’s some more information on what you need to do to apply.

First year students are guaranteed an offer of a room in university accommodation if you meet our guarantee. You’ll need to have confirmed your offer to study with us and apply for accommodation by 10am on Monday 8 July.

How to apply

Once you've made Royal Holloway your firm choice, you can register for an account on the Online Accommodation System: https://halls.services.royalholloway.ac.uk/default.aspx?wf=Login. You’ll then be able to apply from today, 10 June (10am) to 8 July (10am) when you’ll be able to select the exact room you want to live in and book it. Take a look at our accommodation options here: https://www.royalholloway.ac.uk/student-life/accommodation/. You can also take a tour of our George Eliot Hall with Fiona here: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7PZQYDNj9Q8 and Penrose Court flats with Katherine here: https://link.unibuddy.co/unibuddy/Wx5VdZdjoV4u3zb87.

If you don’t want to select your own room, you can submit a preference-based accommodation application instead, where you’ll be asked to rank the accommodation options we have in preference order of where you’d like to live. We’ll offer a room that matches the highest preference possible, based on the room availability we have at the time we process your application.

Accepting your accommodation offer

If you're self-selecting a room, you’ll have 5 days in which to complete your accommodation booking, after reserving your room. To accept your accommodation offer, you'll need to make a prepayment of £300. This payment will be put towards the first instalment of your accommodation fees.

If you have any questions, please contact: [email protected].

Best wishes,

Hello, I have a question about the George Elliot Accommodation. Do they usually try to pair the same gender in one like "cluster-flat/floor"? I wish to live in quiet accommodation, but obviously would like to avoid sharing my floor with males if possible, so that I don't have to worry when I go out of the bathroom after a shower or something about modesty.

yeah there is an option where you get to choose a floor with the same gender.
