Apprenticeship after dropping out of uni

I would like to do an apprenticeship as I've realized uni is not for me. I dropped out of a foundation year ecology course. I have 2 A-levels (D in biology and D in geography).

What are my options? Can i do a level 3 Apprenticeship? I'm slightly interested in doing an engineering or technician apprenticeship, is that possible?

Shouldn’t be a problem.
you don’t need A levels for a level 3.
You would struggle to get a level 4 without a level 3 in engineering or relevant A levels.

If you’re worried about how your drop out and grades look, use it in the context of “full time education and ecology weren’t for me” but in the context of evidencing how STEM > engineering is the next natural step for you.
