Can you do apprenticeships after dropping out of uni?

This is purely theoretical but lets say I'm doing a Computer Network degree, and I drop after 2nd year, what IT apprenticeships would be available, would for example a level 3 IT Technician apprenticeship be allowed? or if I dropped out of Uni do I have to get an apprenticeship or something not related to IT, just don't know what I want to do career wise, really, just thought 2 years ago that IT may have been an interest but the course itself isn't interesting me that much at all making revising etc a real struggle. I do think getting paid some money like doing an apprenticeship would be better, I tried getting an apprenticeship before uni but it fell through at the last interview, so as a last resort picked this course
