So whilst I was a child my home life wasn’t exactly the best and we often had the police come over and because of this I want to study policing at university but was wondering if mentioning my rough adolescence is suitable to put in my personal statement
You could if you use reflect on your interactions with the police and how it affected your perception of them/made you aware of certain aspects of policing/attributes of a good policeman.Do not have to put in gritty details of your personal situation.
