The line L2 has equation 15x+3y-7
A) Find the gradient of L1

The line L2, is parallel to L1, and passes through the point (-2,4).
B) Find the equation of L2 , in the form y= mx+c, where m and c are constants
I got part A and for part B I got y=-5x-6 and I just want to check if it's right

You could sub (-2,4) into your line and check it satisfies the equation (the c coefficient) but things look ok.
