DNA multiple choice

Please could someone help me with this question?

What is the maximum number of hydrogen bonds in a length of dna containing 700 nucleotides?
A: 350
B: 700
C: 1050
D: 2100
I thought the answer is d because 700*3 however it is c? Thanks!

If the number of nucleotides is a double stranded DNA is 700, then a single strand has 350 therefore the maximum number of H bonds being formed - 350x3= 1050
