Is King's College really good?

I see reputations and ranking and so varied for Kings college. For the global ranking, it is ranked (slightly unreasonably) high but in the uk raking, it isn't.

Perhaps, London unis tend to attract more applicants than others.

What is the reality?

it ranks lower in domestic league tables compared to international league tables because of the emphasis on student satisfaction in domestic league tables, like The Guardian or Complete Uni Guide. it is a top uni in the UK and world - sort by entry standards and graduate prospects in UK league tables and it easily fits into the top 10-15 for both of these.

it just does really bad in student satisfaction, so is dragged down domestically.
