OCR A level biology

In my textbook for OCR a level biology it mentions 'how ATP releases energy' but in the specification it doesnt mention it and it only says the structure of ADP & ATP, so i was wondering if its worth going over all of it.

Yes, you should go over it. The two topics go hand in hand, knowing how ATP releases energy will help you understand its structure and vice versa. Also the exams are largely application based, so a question could come up regarding how ATP releases energy in a given situation and this topic would be quite helpful for that.
