Personal statement and plagarism

As far as I know, UCAS doesn't check for plagiarism. There's only a finite number of ways people can talk about their reasons for applying to University, and therefore it is unsurprising to find similarities between PS. They may pass PS through an AI checker, but this is likely to be for their own info to see how many people used ChatGPT this year.
Hi there!

UCAS have a dedicated Verification Team that check Personal Statements for similarity and fraudulence - if you do have any concerns it might be worth have a read through the information on their website as there is a whole section dedicated to answering this question.
