2024 Resit A levels - Applying to University

Hi! So I sat my A-levels in 2023 and I got terrible grades, and I want to resist my A-levels for 2024 Summer so I can go to university in 2024 September, applying for biochemistry/biomedicine.

I originally achieved a CDE with A* in EPQ, but now I'm an independent student being predicted an AAA from tutors, who are qualified examiners too, so it's legitimate.

Obviously, the difference between predicted and achieved is huge. I have extensive work experience and my personal statement is very solid.

Last year, I was offered places at Exeter, Southampton, Holloway, St George's and Queen Mary with predicted grades at an ABB. But now, I have such low achieved grades and high predicted, I don't know what a University would care about more, or how I'd be assessed in such a situation.

In other words, where should I set my standards in terms of applying to a University? For example, would it be unreasonable to apply to a Russel Group or a uni with requirements at AAB?
