completing a levels in 4 years for medicine

will any med schools accept me if i have taken 4 years to complete a levels? i have had to repeat yr12 twice due to poor mental health.

i have high gcse grades (all 8s) and i’m positive i can achieve all A*s. can someone let me know if med school is an option for me??

You will need to email your intended Universities admissions team and ask them.

It is true that med schools require you to have completed your A Levels within the 2 year period, however there are always exceptions. Leeds, for example, will overlook the fact that you are resitting if you provide evidence of extenuating circumstances. You can look into all this information on the university websites :smile:

Hi, did you apply for university? Could you please tell me how everything went? Unfortunately, I'm being forced to retake year 12 and by the time I complete my A-levels, it will be 4 years for me too. I really want to attend medical school and I'm so worried.
