Nhs checks and sickness

Hello, I'm in the process of going through all my checks for the role of a healthcare assistant for the NHS. In my previous job my sickness record wasn't great during covid as we had strict policies and I was supporting a young lady in palliative care at the time. Most of my checks are complete now , dbs etc but I've had an email from the recruitment department telling me that they have to speak to my manager about my sickness record.
Has anyone been in a similar situation, I'm really hoping it's not going to affect my offer.
