anthropology/sociology undergrad applications

did pretty badly during my a levels in singapore: a for literature, c for art, e for economics, a for general paper (not sure about the uk equivalent). interested in applying for anthropology/sociology courses in the uk (open to foundation courses); not sure which ones i qualify for. i'm based in singapore and i did not make the cut for public policy and global affairs in ntu :") emm... yeah at the end of my rope honestly i've had some pretty **** stuff happen in the last 3 years and im contemplating whether it'll be better to retake and reapply ... if it's relevant i'm pretty interested in online ethnography, new media, as well as hauntology and im really hoping to get recommendations to schools with research specialisations in these areas

these are the results i did when i searched up anthro courses with 96 tariff points (assuming ACE): Search - UCAS
and for socio: Search - UCAS
anthro and socio: Search - UCAS

hope this helps a bit! if you are unsure, look for unis which have maximum 96 tariff points for your course!

i don't think the uk general studies still exist! good luck ❤️

@cubic-foray

thank you so much! i've narrowed down my list to these 5 programmes;

foundation in social sciences, arts and humanities (SoAS london) — target
foundation in humanities (oxford brookes) — target
sociology (university of winchester) — reach
anthropology (foundation) — university of winchester (safety)
social sciences (foundation) — university of sussex (safety)

do you have any general advice?
