Post NAVLE Vet Boards

I have passed the NAVLE and now looking to get my license sorted. I have worked out which forms to apply (Florida but happy to change) but as I do not think I will work there for 3 years, cannot wait until i get a job to get licensed. They want a social security number though. Any ideas on how to get one without a Visa or how to get a license without a SSN?
You're unlikely to get much help on this forum as it is usually UK applicants for undergraduate courses.

Did you train in the UK and have sat the NAVLE from the UK? And I'm presuming you're from the UK as well?

If so, can you get in touch with the licensing department to ask if they still require an SSN for internationals. If they do and you want to get an SSN, you're probably best asking another forum online (perhaps there's one on FB?), or perhaps an immigration lawyer? I think some specialise in veterinarians. Alternatively, I think some of the other state boards have more lax requirements which you could be licensed with for a while until you move - I was recommended to apply to Colorado, then switch it to the state I actually want to live in once I decide to move.

I'm not as far along in my journey as you are so forgive me if I'm wrong about any of that, but that's my understanding of the system and what my steps would probably be in your situation! I hope this helps somewhat. Please do let me know if you figure it out, as I am interested as well. Good luck!
