English lit (themed or characters AIC)

Would anyone help me decide or recommend if I should revise themes or characters for an inspector calls.
I like to talk about 3 point in the play (which I find easier with characters) but I don’t like talking about Gerald for example. Any advice or help would be appraciated

This is late, but do both! The questions could be about a specific character or a theme. My advice would be to revise the characters (As in quotes, character progression and message) and then revise and write out how each character links to the themes. Its also helpful to make sure you have a couple of quotes that link to each theme - E.g. Mr Birling calling the Inspector a "socialist crank" links to the theme of socialism vs capitalism.
