Not too confident, honestly time flies so quick it feels unreal that a levels are starting soon. I'm aiming for a good A* on that paper though. I'm predicted an A.

A great way to help people would be to look at the maths or study help forums and helping students directly on site with their questions.

Also well done on the grade.

My 3 Core Pure Predictions:

Parametric Volumes question - It's never came up officially on a "year paper". And since there wasn't any difficult volumes questions in 2023, I really think that this is possible.

A hard polar question - Again, both polar question in 2023 were near the start of the paper and very straightforward. To make polar coords hard, they will either combine areas and tangents into 1 question, do the classic argand-polar question, or mix one of these with modelling.
Or they may even do something completely different, since we know that edexcel can be creative.

A big integration question on methods in calculus/hyperbolics - there were no improper integrals in 2023, and again, the one integration question last year was q2, not many marks at all.
Last year they kinda scattered hyperbolics around multiple questions. So if they do things differently this year, they will have one big question on hyperbolics one way or another.

(other minor stuff that didn't come up in 2023: matrix transformations, series/divisibility proof by induction, de moivres theorem and complex series, method of differences, shm)

Time certainly flies quick. I am actually the only person in the entire year 13 cohort studying further maths. It surely wasn't easy as i had no one to bounce ideas off, but try to look at the brighter side, we still have a couple of days to go, keep pushing until the final day and hopefully you will do well :-)

Honestly, I've been doing just the practice paper MadAsMaths offers, and they don't take too long to do all the papers. Some questions are very challenging, which are good but also means that it would be unlikely to show up in our actual exam. I've done all the past papers for about 2 weeks now, and I have managed to do more than 12 MadAsMaths papers already.

Like what the topic questions or are there full practice papers?

Vectors are easy just practice more until you are fluent

i want an A overall and i usually get ~90% on D1/FS1 and on pasy papers I get like 60% on core pure 😭😭 hopefully it averages out

CP2 is so hard, maybe only bc i did all of core pure in Y13 and the applied modules in Y12 but still
