Oxford DPhil application with AHRC funding

If anyone has applied for a DPhil with AHRC doctoral funding, how did you do your proposal summary?

Was it literally your research proposal or an edited version? My subject's proposal word limit is the same as the AHRC summary one and not quite sure what to do - any ideas? :dontknow:

I'm applying for the DPhil in History. I'm only submitting one proposal with my application (word limit is the same for the DPhil research proposal and AHRC research proposal) as I'll be putting forward the same case.

I believe that anyone nominated for AHRC funding is allowed to revise their statement before it is sent off to the AHRC.
