The Mughals were the descendants of the Persian and Afghan raiders of India. Taking it to the Mughals is exactly what India needed and unfortunately Sikhs were the only ones to do so.

It's been a tradition in the north of india for the eldest Hindu child to join Sikhism and be trained in the warrior arts (no longer i don't think).

I actually wouldn't mind having either. I don't think either is a particularly negative thing, aslong as my daughter wasn't in any way coerced into it, then I'd be fine with it.

hopefully in time, homosexuality will be more tolerated and my gay son wouldn't be oppressed. i would much rather have a gay son than a pornstar daughter. i mean, ultimately i'm looking out for the welfare of my kid, and being a pornstar is definitely not good for her! sure there is a chance of getting aids if he's gay but seriously i think this question boils down to whether i'd care for my kid for who he/she is rather than my own selfish/unproductive expectations.. ahh i'm going crazy even thinking about it now lol :frown:

In theory I wouldn't really give a damn if my daughter went into porn of her own accord, but I wouldn't want to accidentally run into her work, so I've gotta go with having a gay son since there are no forseeable downsides to that.
