By the GP formula,

S(6n)
= (1 - z^(6n))/(1 - z)
= (1 - (1/2)^(6n))/(1 - z)

1/(1 - z)
= (1 - z*)/(1 - z - z* + |z|^2)
= (1 - z*)/(1 - cos(pi/3) + 1/4)
= (4/3)(1 - z*)
= (4/3)(1 - (1/2)cos(pi/3) + (1/2)i sin (pi/3))
= (4/3)(3/4 + sqrt(3)i/4)
= (1/3)(3 + sqrt(3)i)

S(6n)
= (1 - z^(6n))/(1 - z)
= (1/3)(1 - (1/2)^(6n))(3 + sqrt(3)i)

Could you scan in and attach or send me somehow that paper? I'm missing only the P6 Jan '05 one, and I really need the practice!
