What should I do?
I have a degree in Psychology and a PG Cert in HR. I wanted to be a teaching assistant, so ignoring most people's advice I did a Level 2 qualification in supporting teaching and learning. I failed my observation twice. Hence, I failed the course. Wasted 1 year for no reason. My placement doesn't have a good opinion of me- they said I lacked enthusiasm.
When I apply for Level 1 teaching assistant jobs, do I mention in my interview I took this Level 2 course and failed it or keep quiet about it? I don't think my placement will give me a good reference even though it was a volunteer placement- I didn't get paid.
If I keep quiet about the course, later if my employer finds out, can they fire me or take me to court?
