To be honest, only you can decide that. I may be wrong but you don’t really seem that fussed about it? At least that’s what I took from your original message. Kind of seemed half in half out type of attitude. If that’s truly the case then I would tell you not to bother. If it’s genuinely your passion then go for it. Nobody can tell you if it’s worth it other than yourself.

OP, i agree with the principle of this. You will need dedication and commitment to become a doctor. And with a hefty dose of resilience, esp if trying the more competitive grad entry route. Only you can decide if it is worth it.

However, if your question is CAN you do it in the time you have available then yes, you have time, but again it will take a bit of effort, committment and focussed energy. Especially the gaining and undertaking work experience part! Work as an HCA may be one to look at, and the BSMS online course, but mainly push yourself to try and get some medical / healthcare exposure in some eay so that you can assess whether it is definitely the best future career choice for you.

Read the admissions policies of the places you are interested in (not just the websites) and their selection processes and requirements.

Also have a think on the money side. GEM has some additional financial considerations.

Have you also looked at the role of Physician Associates (PAs)?

Primarily done through 2 year post-grad MSc study but I think UoB is a PGDip, but entry is degree subject dependent. Its a different role to a doctor with different responsibilities but equally a different training regime.

Its another option to explore anyway.

Good luck.
