Hey,
I applied last year with a predicted IB score of 44. I got rejected from cambridge and st. andrews. I got into UCL, Warwick, Durham.
I wasn't really satisfied with those 3 choices, and I think the course I chose at UCL was not what I really wanted to do.
I ended up taking a gap year, I received 43 points in the IB overall. I Applied to Oxford, UCL, Kings, LSE, St. Andrews this year. I didnt get into Oxford, although it was good because I didnt wonder what if I didnt apply ect. I also got rejected by Kings and St. Andrews. However, I got into LSE and UCL. I will be going to LSE next september.
I am glad that I reapplied because LSE is a much more prestigious school than Durham, Warwick and UCL.
However, from my experience, it really shows that even if you have the points, you may still get rejected from some schools as I did. So it is a risk...
