Yep  I enjoy it but It's a lotta work
To be honest though if I knew that the exams were gonna change like this I wouldn't have done it! With no January exams I have to sit all 6 units in June next year..... :'(

yeah i've got the same

i wouldn't have taken further maths had I known it would change but oh well, further maths is an "extra" A level for me anyway (doing 4 A2s)

Yeah same! But I still wanna do well in it
What other 2 subjects are you doing?

Having a bit of a blank moment how do I integrate cos^3(2x)

cos ^2 (2x) x cos 2x)

then change cos^2 (2x)
I reckon they'll be a big Integration by Parts 7/8 marker on this paper as there was only a smaller 4 marker on Jan 2013 as well as June 2012.

Oooooh I'm looking forward to that! What's it like? Is it hell?

Yep, especially as C3, FP2 and a two hour physics paper was all on the same day...

I don't think it's right. Line 2 doesn't simplify into line 3

No, my school didn't enter us for any January exams, so it was the first time doing C3. Found it alright - the last question took me about 10 minutes to figure out what to do, but I got it in the end. We did FP2 first, so C3 seemed a heck of a lot easier.

Umm I'm pretty sure it does... Using the rule cos^2(x) = (1+cos2x)/2. ?

Ohhh okay
Yeah same! My answer was wrong in the end but my working was okay (method marks please:wink:). That sounds a bit backwards! Haha but nice for you to have an easier exam afterwards.

Yeah, you can get almost full marks for method marks, so hopefully you'll be fine

midpoint of BD will be [(5+1)/2, (4+6)/2, (-3+3)/2]

= (3,5,0)

the direction vector will be [(3-3), (5-2), (0-1)]

so r = (3,2,1) + t(0,3,-1)
