Teaching or Graphics

I need a but if help/advice from other peoples viewsbon my situation. Its no where near as bad as it feel in my head atm but ucas is approaching fast and im struggling to decide.

Bascially, i finished my alevels a couple of years ago, not getting what id hoped. A* in graphics l, but only a D in english, D in maths and E in physics. I drcided not to go to uni as i didnt know what to do and knew i wasnt gonna get into a decent uni.

Im currently studying at dmu on a foundation art and design dipmola, hoping to get a distinction. I love graphics and so found a uni recently which has the best course ive seen yet 'graphics and illustration' its number 7 in uk atm and has such great stats. Just slightly worried about jobs after. :confused:Basically i want to do well to get into it. I want to end up in London in the future...but talked myself out of studying there due to money.

Anyway, i did work in a primary school for two years durong alevels and loved it, even thougg i was volunteering. My mums a teacher and loves her job, id have to work with primary. And now ive told myaelf that it would be more practical and safe to get a job in.
But as my friends said, all girls want to do that atm so might not ve as easy as i think. So my foundation degree im doing wont help me get into a uni for teaching. Which means...that tis down to my alevels and a sucky uni.

Thoughts on my head or heart? Possible jobs? Better uni?... Help me!!!
Do an Art degree and then get a PGCE?
Can i do primary with that though? Appearently you can only teach secondary if you do it that way?

Sorry, I really wouldn't know. It's a better route for specialist teachers, but I think you can still do primary? I'd advise reseaching into it if it's a route you'd consider going down.
