Has anyone else received an interview with McKinsey yet?

I thought they were sending out PST invitations next week and interviews will follow after this process?
Hi all, I completed all my tests for EY by Tuesday and I passed. I just wanted to know after you successfully complete your tests should you be expecting an interview, or is it possible for you to be rejected, since I know that they screen your application when you submit your initial application. Do they review it again or is it just a matter of waiting for an interview? Thanks

Considering they don't look at applications until after their deadline, I don't know how likely that is.

Does anyone have any experience with first round interviews at EY?

Best thing to do is attack wikijob - I went through loooads of their posts last year, made a list of all their qs and bullet pointed what kind of answers I would give. EY do strengths based interview so NOT qs like 'tell me about working in a team, leading etc...' its more like 'how would you friends describe you', 'what do you consider to be a good day' It is a lot less daunting so dw (I passed it last year)

Theyre more interested in your personality - they know your intellectually clever by your CV and if you've passed the tests so make sure you come across as personable and just smile a LOT. Hope it goes well, good luck!

It's a matter of waiting but make sure to chase them up - it took me a month and a half to secure an interview!
Does anyone know of any public sector specialist consultancies? All I can find is one called 2020 who seem very delivery-oriented which isn't quite my thing.
Damn, found Oliver Wyman online tests rather difficult.

It's quite weird how much the online tests can vary. I can probably do most SHL/Kenexa tests and get every question correct, and then there's some weird ones which just kill me.

What was different about Oliver Wyman in comparison to SHL/Kenexa ones? I have to do mine soon - are they much harder?

Well SHL/Kenexa numerical are quite easy. Just ratios, basic maths, etc.

These included a fair few probability questions, some questions about angles, and just generally more difficult really. The numerical really threw me off as I didn't expect it to be like that.

Critical reasoning wasn't too bad though. Still, it's just different. SHL/Kenexa aren't easy initially but with so many companies doing them you get used to them and get comfortable with the style of questions. Gets hard again when you're thrown some different types of questions.

Just join a big consultancy and push yourself towards public sector work (of which there is loads, and is generally unpopular so therefore easy to get on to).

Manchester performance improvement! I've heard it's more of a personality interview rather than a skills interview so hopefully not too much prep is needed!

Really appreciate the heads up too so thank you very much. To clarify is the critical reasoning the standard analyse, assume, deduce, infer and interpret or is it something else? Thank you very much and I hope you get through to AC!

I was wondering that about the critical reasoning too - is it similar to verbal reasoning but rather than 'true, false, cannot say' are the options more like 'can be assumed, cannot be assumed, insufficient data' or do they give you a passage and ask you 'what sentence sums up this the best'?
Any tips for the Grant Thornton Video interview? Never had one before, so a bit nervous.
