Yup I hope so since I got that and subs x=10 in to get y=2 which is the centre

Yep that would be helpful!

I got x = (2+sqrt(44))/5

i got that too

Show the turning point, then state it's a minimum as its a positive parabola

So would I still get marks for explaining it, opposed algebraicly proving it?
I got q12 part i wrong, and I got the completing the square right, but at the end I added 12 instead of taking it away, so I got 3(x+2)^2+25 instead of 3(x+2)^2+1. How many marks do you guys reckon I lost?
Original post by pierre225
On the earlier question of (25/9)^-1/2 I only put 3/5 instead of + or -
I'll probably lose a mark won't I

crap i put that too, i hope they don't mark it down

For 12(i) I put 56/12 rather than 14/3, will I lose a mark because I forgot to simplify it?

maybe one, at least you didn't do what I did, I rushed it and got 56/12 to equal five

(-2, 1) was definitely the minimum point, right? Not (-6, 1)? I took a gamble on that one... What did you all get for 'k' on the last question then?

yeah it was (-2,1)
Hi, I'm not sure why, but for the perpindicular bisector, I calculated the Tangent to the circle. I know I just don't see why I did that, that question was so easy :/

Would I get any method marks? Because The tangent was definitely correct as I checked it a few times...

How man marks was the perpendicular bisection question ? 5 ?

6 marks
What did you guys get for the proof question?
who is doing an unofficial mark scheme?!
