asked for integer values and 1/2 wouldnt count as an integer value sorry. will only cost 1 though
Original post by Drakton15
Pretty sure it's right. ln(0.5)/-40 = ln(2)/40, which is what I got
Original post by ohkay
Are you absolutely sure about this?

Yeah my friend got 96 in C4, 84 in C3, 60 in M1 and still got an A*

Yeah, it asked for a and b as an integer so it is ln(2)/-40

its ln2/40 not negative 40!
there shouldve been more time!! we had 9 questions unlike the last 7 years or even more, they had 8 questions

Sub in the 'show that' value from part a) for sec2y + tan 2y then it's pretty simple from there

I did that and couldnt get a value at all.. its probably so straight forward and im making a meal of it but yeah i hated that paper.
Paper wasn't that difficult, does anyone know the g(x) range question for 6 marks? How do you solve it?
will i lose marks for too many solutions
For the co-ordinates question most people seemed to get pi/3 but I got 3pi/10 :frown:

On the dx/dy question where it asked for A (coordinate where crosses y axis), I got dy/dx wrong but then carried it through correctly to the end of the question. Will I have lost all 6 marks for this one?

He sounds like everything i ever wanted :':wink:

How would i know when arsey is done?

I'll quote you a link when he's done, since you're new.

But you should see "S15 C3 Model answers" here http://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/search.php?do=finduser&u=384599
I think
Raw -> UMS
66 -> 100
60 --> A*
54--> A
