1) 90% Avg in C3 and C4
2) 480 (or more) in all your maths modules combined


Is this the same for if you're doing further pure maths?

So if I got 90% avg in C3 and C4 but totally flopped in FP2, but still managed to get 80% overall over C1 C2 FP1 and FP2 would I still get the A*?

I only realised how to do it within like 30 seconds of the exam ending so I ended up only writing down the method and multiplying out fractions. Didn't have enough time to calculate it but oh well
How do you even do question 6 when it was integrate by substitution? :s-smilie:

but if you put 0.473 back into the original equation, you get a population 4000 so it's not 27 years sorry to disappoint :l

I noticed P was in thousands in the last minute of the paper. I got a dodgy answer for the final question. When you guys calculate the Volume of the cone 1/3 (pi) r2h is h=9 and r= ln3?

Same... C3 was a bit off this year, I was so happy when I got to the easy vector question so early in the paper.
When I finished I was like "this was too easy" so I flicked through the paper and made sure I had answered all the questions.
Hopefully Bristol let me in with AABa, rather unlikely though

Or simply let 3^(2x) = (3^(2)^x) = 9^(x);

This then gives (1/ln(9) * 9^(x)) + C

NO, if you use degrees you will get M0 A0 for final 2 marks because degree is not alternative method but the WRONG method.


So many people seem in denial about this... calculus requires radians
What do you guys think Grade boundaries will be for an A*?
