"with no change of state" is a pretty important part of the definition I think, when I've seen it before you need that for the marks.

Ah, well I'm glad I included it then! Makes up for the stupid mistakes I made on other bits :frown:

STEP is deadly, you'll get it though bro. Hope to see you there g. Be reloading that stormzy over summer to get you through the trauma still.
They better mark mine right for beta travelling 5m.... It says they can online and also image.jpgthat's what I learnt from our ALevel class handbook.

Will be interesting to see if the boundaries increase for this given people seem to agree it was similar if not harder than last year's?

I hate medical physics! I'm doing Mech Eng at uni and it doesn't help in the slightest. :frown: Our teacher's claimed it was the easiest module though, so I just went with it. :P

aw no! It would've been so much better to do applied then :frown: not fair you didn't get to choose! lol it so isn't, purely cos of the detail you need to learn

What is the requirement for A overall in A2 physics?
Original post by CD223
I think it stated the specific heat capacity of Lead and asked what that sentence meant. In which case I believe I'm right in saying you had to explain specifically that 130J of energy would raise the temperature of 1kg of Lead by 1K.

Would you lose marks for stating general SHC?

480 overall in both AS and A2
Sorry but is there mark scheme for section 1 and medical physics, cant find it anywhere in thread.
Does anyone remember the last question on Section A, or how many marks?

Using 3/2 kT = Ek to work out the temperature. I got 320 K
