Take it one step at a time: (x+a) - (x+c) ------ ------ (x-b) - (x+d)
You can multiply the numerator and denominator of the first fraction by (x+d)second one by (x-b) as ihatePE said. Then write out the full answer you get to the numerator and leave the denominator (don't simplify it yet)

Okay. i got that bit, but its so long. Should i leave it that way??
Hey! I'm taking a break from A2 maths work right now and I couldn't simplify it any further than this! (apologies for the messy writing and my arms in the background ahaha)
