C1 Maths Indice Problem
When you have a fractional power on a value, how do you work out the end value?
9 to the power of 3/2 will become the square root of 729 (9 cubed)
How do you work out the square root of 729 without a calculator?
I've noticed they always seem to be part of the timetable for the original coefficient but have never been taught how to find the final coefficient after being raised to the power.

You might like to deal with the denominator of the fraction first (i.e. the 1/2) to make your value nicer to deal with, so square root the 9 and THEN cube instead of vice versa

Oh, I see, so square root 9 = 3 then cube = 27. Thanks, I never broke it down like that

cube root of 8 = 2
2 to the power of 5 = 32
