It's fine but these questions were in the specification and they were in B1 so i wouldn't think that isomerase would be involved but it's okay thanks anyways.

Yeah, I'm not totally sure on that then haha

I'm sure that Isomerase and enzymes are the only part of the specification linked to slimming products. And yes, Antibiotics are definitely in B1 because I have written notes on them yesterday

Yeah A** is pretty cool haha

Matrices, Trig Identities, Factor Theorem & Polynomials?

Yup. Also stuff such as differentiation, trig equations, and binomial expansion I assume?
I can't wait for next where where I'll take HL Chem, bio, maths and English. I'm so passionate about maths yet I don't know whether I can see myself doing numbers for the rest of my life, haha. That's why I'd like to be a plastic surgeon who specialises in facial reconstruction.

Are you pretty set on economics, or is there still some flunctuation?

Lol neither am i , I have to ask my teacher then
Are you doing triple science?
How are you revising for biology?

Yeah Differentiation and Trig Equations I've also covered.

Yeah, I can't wait for Maths and Further Maths. I find it very interesting haha

Interesting field of work there haha but I guess it would pay extremely well, especially in somewhere like America

Yeah, I'm set on Economics and Investment Banking. I can't really see any fluctuation

Yeah, I'm doing triple with AQA

Just like any other subject really. I will be hitting the key words hard as well as my teacher always says that is the best way to gain extra marks, by using specialist language. Biology is the weakest of the three sciences for me haha

Physics is my weakest and i do triple as well
So, how are you planning to revise for unit 2 and 3 due to the fact that they are on the same day
Original post by Sage25
I am about halfway through B2. Still got a way to go though. I did wake up at 9 to try and get in some extra time which has helped me slightly

Still, I can tell the sciences will be the most time-consuming and really test my patience haha

Yup. I still need to cover physics, chem, history, english lit, re and here I am still on b1:facepalm:
I'm really contemplating if I have enough time to cover everything...
I still need to practise further maths too because I'm quite weak on that. I see that you're also doing further maths for AQA
EDIT: And computer science:mad:

The specification is all the subject content which your exam board sets. Your teachers will have taught you the specification over the past 2 years of GCSE.

Your exams at the end of this school year will test you on the content in the specification. So yes, I would say the specification helps as it is everything laid out for you on what to revise and look over

http://filestore.aqa.org.uk/subjects/AQA-BIOL-W-SP-14.PDF

The above link is the specification for Biology, written by my exam board for Biology which is AQA

Hope this helps

Thank you very much. At least now i know.

I'll shift my revision focus more to past papers and mark schemes. My notes on the spec will be there for reference and as underlying knowledge but closer to exam time I'll be completing as many past papers on the subject as I can. I prefer active revision where I answer questions and not just looking over notes.

Same i've started with some past papers but not unit 3's and the fact that we have unit 2 and 3 on the same day makes me angry  Arrrrgh
We are not Einstein !!
Lol Do you know why they've done that?

That's why we've started straight away I guess haha

Yeah, honestly I found the course very short. We've completed it and now we're just doing past papers and revision for it. I can almost see that A** lol

How long is left until your first exam?

I will hopefully be starting my own past papers next week after these notebooks are complete but I've already done so many in class haha

We are being prepared to become drones of the working world lol

No, I have absolutely no clue haha

What's the most amount of exams you have in one day?
@Sage25

Wow, my gcses seem weak compared to yours (if you do achieve them ). My best advice is make sure your controlled assessments are really top notch, especially ones where they count for like 60% of the total grade. Those really let me down.

Haha, I hope I do achieve them

I've finished all of my controlled assessments and they were all high A*'s apart from German in which I had two high A's. My controlled assessments are the least of my worries

Anyhow, thank you for the advice.
Hi Sage25

How do you plan on revising when you back back to school after the Easter Holidays?

It might pay extremely well but I don't think I'll focus as much on the money as I will on helping others. A part of me feels guilty for being powerless about people after accidents who feel ashamed of their look.

Are you planning on doing 3 or 4 A-levels? I can't choose so I have to take the IB which feels like hell TBH haha.

Looking over my notes on the spec. Doing as many past papers as I can at home. As I've finished controlled assessments and almost finished the spec in most of my subjects, doing past papers in class will also help

Yeah, going into Medicine is as rewarding financially as it is morally. It is also a well-respected profession.

I'll be doing 4 A-levels over the two years (Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Economics)

IB is worth more in UCAS points than A-levels though
