Yh it will. Make sure you print the spec so that you learn what you need to know.

Econ 2 for AQA will be different if you are doing the new specification but the same if you are re-taking Econ 2 from the old specification. You need to check with the Centre where you are entered.

Hey guys, what are some good ways to revise for these as econ exams? I usually use past papers to revise but there is a distinct lack of them since this is a new spec.

You are right, there aren't many papers to revise with. Not sure which board you are with but If you go to my website at: http://aleveleconomicssuccess.com/ and go to the exam papers and mark schemes you will find the specimen papers for all of the board. You can also use some of the past papers for the old specification to revise. There are also some student responses on there.

oh goodness. I applied externally to a centre. Is there some type of exam code which is specific to the old exam style and not the new one so that they I want to do the old one?

The code for the old AQA spec is 2140. The code for the new AS AQA spec is 7135.
