Waves Question

I don't quite understand what this question is asking, mark scheme doesn't shed much light on the matter either. Question 5cii of the Physics paper 2 summer 2010(http://documents.scribd.com.s3.amazonaws.com/docs/7fzthga9ts3r6wo8.pdf). I don't know how fast this wave is travelling, so I can't really tell where to mark the respective times.
Sorry you've not had any responses about this. :frown: Are you sure you've posted in the right place? Here's a link to our subject forum which should help get you more responses if you post there.

You can also find the Exam Thread list for A-levels here and GCSE here. :dumbells:

Just quoting in Puddles the Monkey so she can move the thread if needed :h:

I hope this youtube video can shed some light on how to attempt the problem.

You can try to "animate" the wave motion using a spreadsheet.
