How to get grade 7 in maths mocks 2018?

What do i need to revise and what do i need to do in order to acheive a grade 7 in 9-1 maths?

Before we get started, I will provide sources mainly for regular Maths due to the new problem solving and weird syllabus - the FM is still the old hence for that I'd just go through the book, do the CGP workbook and bang out past papers.

Can i do any past paper or one specific to new 9-1 gcse's?

A few things I'll add to your excellent list:

The CGP practice papers are really good and so are the MathsBuster papers and Edexcel practice papers. I'd recommend all of these above the crashMATHS and Churchill papers.

At some point you could make a thread that lists all the free and buyable practice papers for 9-1 maths (with links). This would be really useful for GCSE students aiming for 7-9 - most aren't aware that so many papers are available. The thread could be stickied and promoted nearer to the exam.

Of course it's completely up to you if you want to do this!

Also, I was thinking one for A level Maths too. I found a lot of (non-syllabus) resources that are greatly helpful. A lot of students miss these as they aren't titled "A level Maths". Professor Leonard on YouTube is the best resource to learn all the Calculus in Maths/FM for instance, examsolutions for other stuff, problem worksheets for more difficult integrals/differentiation, etc. I was thinking of writing a routine kinda thing for Maths too e.g. watch the videos and lectures, complete the textbook exercises, try the problem worksheets, etc. with links to Solomon, IYGB, physicsandmathstutor, examsolutions, textbooks, etc?

These are great ideas It's actually been on my list of things to do to make a list of off site resources and post it so we can link it when users ask what resources they should use. If you do create it then please do tag me in and we can add it to things like the maths thread index etc.

Yeah I will do - I think it'll help a lot of students for their Maths journeys through GCSE/A level. After I'm done revising for my own stuff, I'll create it ASAP and tag you in.
