how to study smart but not hard?

Just my 2p, but 'Harder' is generally the one that works.

The last student I heard sneer they were working 'Smarter' refused to take notes in lectures and instead took photos on their phone of everything. It turns out that 5000+ blurry largely identical mobile phone pics isn't a great revision tool. Nor is forgetting to note down what building the final exam is in.

(They bought a bleeding Dacia Sandero as well, no helping some people)
