can they used interchangeably with rate of reaction?

thanks

Enzyme being a factor that affect the rate of biological reaction in the body, its capability to catalyse the biological process is the activity, these activity or performance of enzymes is affected by many factors like concentration, temperature and Ph, these increases or deceases the rate of reaction, for example the higher the concentration of enzyme the higher the rate of reaction.

thanks, so can they used interchangeably?

What do you mean with interchangeably? enzymes have different functions in metabolism, so they aren't.

Their concentration, temperature and ph value determine their activities, so the numbers of active enzymes in biological process as catalyst.

yes, sorry, i meant if "rate of reaction" = "enzyme activity", since some text books used it interchangeably

Rate of reaction affected by ebzyme concebtration, which is the activity of the enzyme, then my answer is Yes
