Well if you really want to do med then do med- do retakes, take a year out etc.

Where there's a will, there's a way.
Get your head down, revise, do retakes in jan and june if necessary, learn from your mistakes this year. Beg, plead with teachers to give you good predicted grades, and show them that you won't let them down.

Though, if you're finding AS levels hard, how are you going to manage medicine at uni?!! I know people with 10 A*s, first year med students who've found end of year exams SOO horrendous (at bristol, dunno, amybe this just isn't a great uni). You really need to decide what you're going to do over summer, is there anything else you'd like to do? Good luck, you may have done better than you think. x

Bristol by reputation is one of the best universities in the country.

Get good A levels, take a year out doing work exp. and apply for 2007 medicine course. Otherwise do a biomedical course and apply for grad. entry (more competetive).

see how your exams turn out first, they may turn out better than you expected. if you did craply in your AS resit and as long as your predicted grades meet the entry requirements for the med uni's you apply to, you'll have a chance. Good luck!

I wouldn't necessarily agree with that, especially with medicine there isn't much between any of them apart from their style of teaching.
